Biography

Alexis LAFRANCHI is one of the Partners of HELVETICA AVOCATS Sàrl.

After seven years of expatriation in Cairo (Egypt), he completed his law studies at the University of Fribourg (Master of Law), following which he undertook his legal traineeship at the firm ZPG CARRARD GRUMBACH LÜSCHER PONCET (now CMS VON ERLACH PARTNERS SA) in Geneva.

Alexis LAFRANCHI was admitted to the Bar in May 2010 (3rd place) and then joined ALTENBURGER LTD legal + tax as an associate lawyer in September of that year.

In parallel, he successfully completed an in-depth training in mediation, which led to his accreditation with the Swiss Chamber for Commercial Mediation (CSMC) and the title of «FSA Mediator» from the Swiss Bar Association (FSA).

In August 2013, Alexis LAFRANCHI left ALTENBURGER LTD legal + tax to found S & L AVOCATS in Nyon, and then HELVETICA AVOCATS Sàrl in December 2015.

Alexis LAFRANCHI's areas of focus are: judicial and extrajudicial dispute management and resolution (risk analysis, interests, needs, options, etc.); commercial, civil and administrative advice; guidance for private individuals on all aspects of their personal affairs and wealth management (Family office); administrative procedures in immigration matters (residence, work permits, lump-sum taxation, naturalisation); and contract assistance, negotiation and drafting.

Alexis LAFRANCHI is a native French speaker and is also fluent in English and legal German. He has a working knowledge of Italian and Spanish.

Married with children, Alexis LAFRANCHI is active in the associative world, in particular through his involvement with the Round Table 20 Nyon La Côte, the Rotary Club of Nyon, the Swiss Chamber for Commercial Mediation (CSMC) and the Swiss Bar Association (FSA).

Alexis LAFRANCHI is registered at the Vaud Bar and is a member of the Vaud Bar Association (OAV) and the Swiss Bar Association (FSA).
