Gilles Davoine

Gilles DAVOINE is one of the Partners of HELVETICA AVOCATS law firm.

He holds a law degree from the University of Lausanne and an International Master's degree in Management, Sociology and Sports Law, awarded jointly by three European universities: De Montfort University (Leicester – UK), SDA Bocconi (Milan – Italy) and the University of Neuchâtel.

His professional career has taken him through the law firms PESTALOZZI LACHENAL PATRY (Geneva and Zurich), SCHMIDT JATON & ASSOCIÉS (Geneva and Lausanne) and SOLUTIONS AVOCATS (Nyon and Geneva).

Gilles DAVOINE advises clients in contract law, real estate and lease law, employment law, family law, corporate law, succession law, traffic law and intellectual property law, as well as in public procurement matters and, of course, sports law.

He is primarily active in the cantons of Vaud, Geneva and Valais.

Gilles DAVOINE also serves as Municipal Councillor (executive branch) for Finance, Sport and Economic Development of the City of Gland (13,000 inhabitants).

He is also active in various regional associations and foundations, including the Lions Club de la Côte, of which he was President in 2017–2018, Communyon (publisher of NRTV, local television), of which he is Vice-President, and the Fondation L'Ombelle. In Valais, he chairs the APAU, the Association of Small Shareholders and Users of CMA and CMAI (Crans-Montana ski lifts).

Once a month, a column appears in the daily newspaper « La Côte » in which Gilles DAVOINE answers readers' legal questions on lease, construction and real estate matters.

Gilles DAVOINE is married with three children. He is an accomplished sportsman who has played volleyball in the national A league and continues to do so today. He also skis extensively. He has an entrepreneurial spirit, having successfully founded several companies and carried out various real estate developments in the La Côte region.

Gilles DAVOINE also acts as a financial intermediary. He is a member of the Vaud Bar Association (OAV) and the Swiss Bar Association (FSA).
