Biography
Jeremy LACK is an independent attorney and specialist in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR/MARC). He serves as Counsel at HELVETICA AVOCATS Sàrl.
Admitted to the Bar of England and Wales – Middle Temple (1989), the New York Bar and various US federal courts (1990–1991), the USPTO, and the Geneva Bar as a foreign EU attorney (2003), he is also a barrister at Quadrant Chambers (London), advisor to Charles Russell LLP and counsel to Pearl Cohen Zedek Latzer LLP.
A sworn mediator certified by the Swiss Chamber for Commercial Mediation (CSMC) and the International Mediation Institute (IMI), he chairs the French-speaking section of the CSMC. He is affiliated with leading international ADR institutions: AAA/ICDR, ICC, CPR, CEDR, CMAP, JAMS, WIPO and SIMI.
His areas of focus cover complex international commercial disputes spanning common law and civil law jurisdictions: intellectual property, joint ventures, international transactions, partnerships, deal facilitation, entrepreneurship, innovation, media, sports, family-owned businesses, trusts and estates, technology and life sciences.
Jeremy LACK is also a faculty member at EPFL and the University of Geneva. He holds an MA (Oxon) from Lincoln College, University of Oxford (Jurisprudence and Physiological Sciences), as well as postgraduate diplomas in Competition Law and Comparative Copyright Law from Kings College London.
He holds Swiss, British, Israeli and US citizenships. His working languages are English, French and Spanish; he is also conversant in Hebrew and has a working knowledge of Italian and German.
